Should I repair or replace my concrete?
Repair when the slab is solid and the problem is on the surface or in one section: hairline cracks, a sunken panel, a broken corner. Replace when cracks run through the whole slab, pieces move when you step on them, or most of the surface is failing. We'll tell you which one you need at the estimate, and we'd rather do a repair that lasts than sell you a new driveway you don't need.
Can you fix a driveway that tree roots pushed up?
Yes. We remove the lifted section, cut back or remove the roots (with your OK), re-compact the base and pour a new section that ties into the old one. If the tree stays, we'll talk you through the risk of the roots coming back.
Why does concrete crack in Jacksonville?
